Registrations will be date stamped on the day they are received.
NSF cheques will result in a $20.00 charge and the registration will be null and void.
Current members of the Gathering for Life on Earth Society (i.e., those who attended The Gathering 2007) will remain registered until April 15. After that date, registration will be open to members and non-members equally on a first-come, first-serve basis.

SOME INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION

A few points here to smooth the registration process:

  • Please use one Registration Form per person over the age of 12 (minors must be listed on the responsible adult's form).

  • Remember to fill in both sides!!!

  • Minors (anyone under 18) must be listed on an adult's form.

  • Registrations are not transferable.

  • You may photocopy the registration form as needed.

  • There is a maximum of 150 adults allowed on site during the Gathering.

REGISTERING CHILDREN

All children must be listed on their responsible adult's Registration Form. Adults registering with minors for whom they are not the legal parent or guardian must include a letter from the parent or guardian granting permission with the registration. There are spaces on the Registration Form for four children. If you are bringing more, simply attach a separate sheet to your form with the information needed.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships of 50% of registration cost will be awarded, with preference given to families with children - children's fees are waived with scholarship. To qualify, you must not have received scholarship funds for the Gathering in the previous year. Deadline for scholarship applications is June 15, and the scholarships will not be awarded until July 1. If you would like to request a scholarship, please attach the request to your registration form. If you would like to donate to our scholarship fund, please indicate the amount on your registration form.

BEASTIES CANNOT ATTEND

No dogs, cats, fish, wombats, live familiars or other animals will be admitted except seeing eye and "assist" dogs.

REFUNDS

Full refunds will be given for cancellations made prior to July 1, 2007 or if the registration spot can be filled by someone on the waiting list. If not, a 50% refund will be given for cancellations received between July 2nd and July 15th and no refunds will be given after July 15th. Refunds are not transferable and will be issued out only in the registrant's name. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Openings will be filled in postmark order with full payment.

T-SHIRTS

Congratulations to Cheryl Price for winning the 2008 design contest. This whimsical design will be showcased on our 2008 t-shirts.
The t-shirts are 100% cotton preshrunk jersey in black, with set-in sleeves, a seamless collar with taped neck and shoulders. They have a double stitched neckline, sleeve and waist hem. Quarter turned to eliminate center crease.

The t-shirts will cost $20.00 each and can be pre-ordered on your registration package. We recommend pre-ordering, as we did sell out of t-shirts at last year's Gathering; don't miss out on this unique souvenir!

If you would like to order a child's size shirt, please indicate your child's age for the t-shirt size on the registration form.

CONFIRMATION PACKET

Confirmation packages for registrations received prior to June first will be mailed out after June first. The confirmation packet containing your proof of registration, a map to the site and other information to make the Gathering a comfortable and safe weekend for all ages. This year we are offering the option to receive your confirmation package by e-mail. Please indicate on your registration form if an emailed confirmation package will be acceptable for you. If you show up at the site and are not registered, you will be turned away.

ACCOMMODATION

Please let us know on your registration form if your accommodation preference is the Recreation Hall (reserved for families and those with mobility limitations), the cabin area, or if you would like to pitch a tent in one of the tenting areas. If you have a preference of roommates in the cabin area, please indicate this and we will do our best to consider your preferences, however, they are not guaranteed. All cabins are heated and come with sleeping mats, however, it is necessary to bring sleeping bags and pillows. Accommodation preferences are on a first-come, first-served basis.
