EVENTS - WE WANT YOU!
We are looking for some adventurers to make this year's Gathering event lineup the most exciting ever. Can you run a ritual, lead a discussion group, or put on a workshop? If you are interested in presenting something, please fill out the “Events and Activities” part of the registration form.
For your safety and privacy, all rituals and workshops are held on-site. The deadline for all events proposals is August 1, 2010, and they must accompany a paid registration. Submissions received after August 1 will be considered only if time and space allow, so don't delay if you have a workshop or ritual you want to present.
For a list of events/workshops being offered - see the Event and Workshop BLOG
Marketplace: Are you ready to share your arts, crafts, or other goods? The Merchant Row is a favorite area among campers. All merchants are responsible for their goods at all times and are advised to either have someone mind their table if they have to leave or to lock their goods in their car trunk. Please indicate on the attached registration form if you would like to sell your wares at the Gathering. Please bring your own table and sun shade, as tables on site are limited. One table allowed per merchant, please. If you register before the confirmation package is printed, we would be happy to have your business highlighted in the package and/or on our web site; just let us know on your registration form.
Aphrodite's Temple and Pan's Lair: These are adult-only spaces available for worship and for people wishing to have private intimate time with their partners.
The Grotto: This is our adults-only party space, where drummers and dancers can frolic. This space is reserved for adults of legal drinking age only.
Sacred Fire: A gathering place where drummers, dancers, and chanters are found, and good friends are made. Just please no garbage in the fire!
Children’s Area: We are offering children's programming for the young and the young at heart! Come play with crafts, games and workshops. Our youngest members traditionally kick off our "No Talent Bardic Festival" with a costume-filled parade. If you want to get in touch with your inner child and present a kids' or teens' workshop or ritual, please let us know in the space provided on the back of the registration form.
